It's Time for Cherry Blossoms!!!!

Goodmorning my little ones. Yes, it has been a while since I have updated my blog.... but it has been busy , busy times. Especially trying to decide if I will stay a third year.
Meanwhile, let me share some stories. We had a block 5, Southern Comfort outing to the north of the island for the Annual Cherry Blossom Matsuri. These flowers have an amazing color! I have never see a pink so pretty pretty before! I even had some cherry blossom ice cream; it was really yummy!
We talked, we laughed, we talked and laughed our way through the blossoms. It was great times; but after a couple of hours viewing the blossoms, our stomachs were ready for some food. We headed up to Motoubu Pizzaria. The restaurant is located at the very top of Motoubu, with an amazing view overlooking the turquoise waters of Okinawa. We sat outside on the woodend benches and coal bowls underneath the tables to keep us warm. It was quite nice. They even provided blankets for our comfort. After eating, we started to make our way back down to our respective cities; not without a stop at the billards house in Okinawa City. We played some pool and discovered how much we really suck at this game, especially when our "white" ball kept jumping off the table. After a couple of games and some 'edemame,' aka 'soy beans,' we decided to go to Jusco to buy some baked goods for movie night at my place. We drank some "Chocolate Caliente: Abuelita," and watched a movie all comfy on my couch. It was a perfect day.

Just to let you folks know, my parents' will be venturing out to Okinawa again! Yayyy. They arrive on April 2nd and will stay about 2 and half weeks! This time we shall make a trip to Tokyo to view mainlands's Cherry Blossoms. Meanwhile, I anticipate their arrival by keeping busy. I am going to start paddling with some other Jet's and countinue my Japanese study. I have also started to teach my adults again on Monday and Wednesday evenings. I am living the happy here on the island: That is until I decide if I will stay for my 3rd year. Wish me luck! I miss you all very much!

I love reading about Happy Elvira! Good luck with the decision. I'll be in Cali waiting for when you decide to return. Enjoy life in Oki, once you leave you miss it terribly. Believe me, I know.
